Can a dry gas seal be repaired? It seems like dry gas seals are designed to be used only once. Mechanical seals can be reused after grinding.
The shiny part – is that worn out?
If the damage is not severe, it can be sent back to the factory for repair~~~
If re-grinding the grooves is needed, I guess only the manufacturer can do it
If it cannot be repaired, the dynamic and static rings definitely need to be replaced. However, dry gas seals are not as good as mechanical seals, and their installation requirements are quite stringent.
