Where does the gas pumped by a water ring vacuum pump go?

Recently, our factory has installed some water ring vacuum pumps, mainly for VOC abatement projects; some of them are used in low-pressure gas networks, while others are employed for the absorption of oil and diesel followed by catalytic combustion. The outlet pressure for a water ring vacuum pump should be relatively high, or a high suction force at the inlet is required; otherwise, an exhaust fan will suffice.
Simply put, where does the gas drawn out by the vacuum pump from the vapor-liquid separator go?
Air is drawn in at the inlet and discharged at the outlet; the specific method of discharge depends on the medium and the process flow.
