Transporting DMF material, operating temperature around 80°C, under negative pressure. Besides PTFE and PTFE-coated materials, what other suitable materials are there for shaft end cover sealing?
I checked; DMF stands for dimethylformamide. XLPE and UHMWPE are the preferred sealing materials, followed by EPR, IIR, and CPE; there is no clear preference for the alternatives.
Foreign supplier information also indicates the use of PFR and PTFE. However, PFR is very expensive, extremely so.
