The metering pump does not deliver fluid

The metering pump for the catalyst deactivator in the catalytic unit will not deliver any fluid; when the outlet valve is closed, the pressure gauge shows pressure building up, but as soon as the valve is opened slightly, the pressure drops and stays low. What could be the cause?
Lack of increase in volume and lack of increase in pressure are two different things; a lack of increase in pressure does not necessarily mean a lack of increase in volume
Since when? From installing? Is there still some time?
It still isn’t working properly; I’ve checked the check valve as well as the inlet filter
When the outlet valve is closed, pressure builds up; when it’s opened, no pressure builds up. Without pressure, there certainly can be no flow
Has the liquid level in the scale inhibitor tank dropped without any pressure applied? If there is no drop, then it’s very likely that there is a problem with the pump.
There is no exhaust at the outlet; is there exhaust?
The absence of pressure does not necessarily mean no flow rate; is there a backpressure valve at the outlet, or is the backpressure valve damaged?； ； Or maybe the imported filter needs to be cleaned; is it not flowing properly?
Is there a problem with the selection? The flow rate of the pump was chosen to be too low.
