The leaf wrap angle and the exclusion coefficient are different
This post was last edited by 3983596_FPPZ on 2018-8-24 at 18:04. The corner angles differ, resulting in different crowding at the inlets; the casting difficulty varies, as does the ability of impurities to pass through. There is also a slight difference in head pressure
Those with more blades have a flow and head curve that is flatter than those with fewer blades. It can also be argued that the ratio of the head at the shut-off point with fewer blades to the head at the optimal efficiency point is larger.
