Can a centrifugal pump be replaced with a positive displacement pump? ?
I don’t understand what’s being said. The tank is on the 2nd floor; no pump is needed, as water will flow down to the 1st floor due to gravity. Why lift it?
Just close the inlet valve of the pump. . .
Oh, then use a control valve with interlocking!
After stopping the pump, close the inlet and outlet; flow will continue as long as there is a height difference.
The inlet and outlet also need to be closed after switching to a positive displacement pump.
