We use lime to neutralize acidic gases, but currently the seal of the lime alkali solution pump is constantly leaking. How can this problem be solved?
First, what kind of pump are you? For horizontal centrifugal pumps, check where the leakage is occurring: at the mechanical seal and pump cover, or between the mechanical seal shaft sleeve and the shaft. In the former case, it might be due to the gasket not being pressed tightly; in the latter case, it could be because the O-ring or gasket between the impeller and the shaft sleeve is damaged
What flushing protocol is being used currently? PLAN32 can be adopted, with clean flushing water supplied externally

The medium crystallizes and precipitates at the mechanical seal; it is recommended to use an external flushing solution to address this issue. Otherwise, the mechanical seal chamber and its structure will need to be modified so that precipitation does not occur easily

The stainless-steel horizontal centrifugal pump currently in use likely has a single-face mechanical seal; it can be replaced with one that has a double-face design and includes a flushing system.
