What are the specific differences between self-priming pumps and ordinary centrifugal pumps? Why can the structure of a self-priming pump enable gas-liquid separation at the pump inlet? If I install a foot valve and an air-liquid separator at the inlet of the centrifugal pump, can a regular centrifugal pump become a self-priming pump?
You also need to ensure that the liquid resulting from the gas-liquid separation goes into the pump, and then mixes with the gas to reach the gas-liquid separator.
