There are currently two circulation pumps, with a rated flow rate of 280 M3/h and a rated power of 37 kW. One pump draws 38 A of current, while the other draws 46.5 A. Is the circulation volume generated by both pumps the same?
If they are the same type of piping, (including elbows), they should be different. It might be that the imbalance in the three phases of the motor itself results in uneven current flow
There are no other parameters for the pump, such as the outlet pressure value. Are the two pumps operating in parallel? Are there any factory test data for the two pumps?
Also, the current level here is too low; could there be an issue with the configuration? For a 37KW motor, the current should be around 70A
Does three-phase imbalance in the motor have a significant impact on the output of the circulation pump? I’m worried now that the circulation volume isn’t enough. .

The motors used with pumps are designed with a margin of capacity; by using a motor with a capacity 1.15 times that required, the shaft power of the pump should be around 32 kW. When two pumps operate in parallel, if there is a difference in head, it will result in one pump delivering more flow than the other.
With this current level, it is caused by insufficient flow at the pump inlet. It’s a design issue; it has nothing to do with the pump. The inlet pipe is too thin or too long.
