The wear of the thrust plate of the multi-stage centrifugal water injection pump causes high temperature and the engine trips when the temperature exceeds the standard. Analyze what is the reason for the increase in axial force? ..
Is your pump impeller arranged symmetrically?
If the balance drum is not arranged symmetrically, the wear gap of the balance drum will become larger and the axial force will become larger. Also, when the balanced pressure drop is large, it will also cause the axial force to become larger.
Does it have anything to do with craftsmanship?
Whether the various data of the pump operation have changed. If this situation occurs after long-term operation, the main considerations are the increase in internal clearance wear; the equalization water pipeline is clogged; and the amount of suction water is insufficient.

Balance pipe plugging, turbine internal temperature and pressure of the medium. There is also lubricating oil analysis, all of which must be checked. In addition, the clearance and level of the coupling must be checked.
It is running continuously, and the balance pipe check is fine.
The impeller is symmetrically arranged. Check the impeller mouth ring clearance. Excessive clearance on one side will cause excessive axial force. This pump does not have a balance tube. The tube on the pump is to keep the seal chamber pressure on both sides close to each other.
