As a salesperson for pump equipment, what information is needed to close a deal?

Where do everyone get information about the project, how to conduct phone conversations, and how to arrange meetings for further discussion? What aspects need to be taken into account during these discussions in order to be able to provide a quote successfully?

At least this traditional industry won’t be replaced, right?
Visit relevant companies more often, collect contact information of relevant as well as unrelated personnel, make friends, and when necessary, engage in technical exchanges with certain companies to share technical expertise while promoting one’s own products. For now, we can only cast a wide net!
