The seal of the hot water pump keeps leaking, and replacing it doesn’t help – what should be done?
Hello, could you please explain it more clearly? There are many reasons that can cause leakage in mechanical seals. Is the amount of leakage significant? From where is the leakage coming from? Does it occur before the machine starts operating or only after it has been running for some time? Is there any solution for flushing out the leakage? The medium temperature is too high; it’s above 80 degrees Celsius, so cooling should be applied

Does it leak right after being installed, or does it take a few hours or days before leaking?
I think mechanical seal leakage is caused by various factors. First of all, does your pump leak when it is at rest? What are the parameters of the medium as well?
For hot water pumps, the presence of some gas results in a mixed friction condition on the surfaces of the friction pairs, which reduces the sealing efficiency and thus increases the risk of leakage. It is recommended to select an appropriate temperature for the flushing water based on the pressure in the sealing chamber as well as the saturated vapor pressure of water under those conditions; a cooler can be used to lower the temperature of the sealing flushing water
It is possible that the vaporization of the medium destroys the lubrication on the sealing surface; taking photos of the damaged mechanical seal during disassembly helps with analysis
