In the morning, I received a maintenance report from the workshop saying that a pump could not pump water. I went to the site for maintenance. It was found that the rubber ring of the elastic pin coupling of the IS10-80-160 single-stage centrifugal pump had long been burned, causing the coupling and the motor shaft to wear into a flat surface. The gears could not mesh, and the motor output power could not be transmitted to the centrifugal pump shaft. I checked that the motor base was not on the horizontal plane, causing the motor output shaft and the centrifugal pump coupling to rotate out of concentricity. The base was now leveled, and the coupling was replaced with a gasket. It has been repaired.
Equipment management should be strengthened and equipment inspection quality should be strengthened so that problems like this can be discovered early.
This is a problem with the quality of maintenance. After the coupling is properly aligned, the hexagonal rubber pad can be used for one year without any problems. The alignment is not good, the rubber pad wears out quickly, and if it cannot be replaced in time, the coupling will be damaged.
The model number should be is100-80-160； From the picture analysis, it can be seen that there must be something wrong with the alignment. The vibration should be very large when driving. However, no relevant personnel have discovered that if things go on like this, the three claws of the coupling will be so worn. It is recommended to pay attention to the quality of maintenance and strengthen inspections at ordinary times.

The hygiene of this pump is so poor that I wonder if there is oil in the bearing box. Can I see it clearly with the sight glass? The inspection was not done properly, the backrest pads were worn out, and the backrest wheels were worn out.

Each equipment may have major or minor problems. It is recommended that the entire plant inspect the equipment, record the equipment problems, report spare parts, and make a maintenance plan.
