API610 pumps are specified in the standards
They are all just concepts, used for marketing and signing contracts; they have no real value. Over the years, there have been many changes in leadership, and the systems have been revised numerous times – everything has changed. The Chinese still do not possess a reliable design approach in this area, so things can fail after however many years pass
According to the standards, it should be 25,000 hours; in China, 8,000 hours is considered acceptable. The key point is that during the trial operation and commissioning of new installations and equipment, various issues such as blockages and vacuum conditions are inevitable, and it is difficult to hold the pump manufacturer accountable for such situations.
