A rainwater and sewage pump has been installed by a foreign company; now the user wants an additional function to monitor the reverse rotation of the pump. Help – how can this monitoring function be implemented?

The former can be controlled using check valves at the inlets and outlets, while the latter can be addressed by equipping the motor with mechanisms that require the motor manufacturer to include such features, or by using clutches for control
This was sent by the owner from another manufacturer; it’s not clear what equipment was used to achieve this
Speed relays address the issue of reverse rotation at the hardware level; some motor protection devices also have a function for detecting reverse rotation
Speed relays are primarily used in the control circuits for reverse braking of three-phase asynchronous motors. Their function is to generate a rotating magnetic field in the opposite direction to the actual rotation of the rotor once the phase sequence of the three-phase power supply changes, thereby creating a braking torque. Therefore, it enables the motor to rapidly reduce its speed in a braking state. A signal is sent immediately when the motor speed approaches zero to cut off the power and stop it (otherwise the motor will start rotating in the opposite direction). This is different from the forced braking anti-reverse function and the reverse detection you requested

Put a permanent magnet on the shaft and a coil there; as the magnetic field lines are cut, doesn’t the current have a direction? I’ve forgotten all of high school physics.
