I would like to ask fellow sea professionals: are there any standards or guidelines available that specify the minimum requirements for seal and flushing systems when using pumps to transport substances related to environmental protection, health, and personal safety? Two-sided is fine, as is cascade configuration; I think the 52 flushing scheme is the most practical, while for the sealed flushing scheme, refer to API682
You can directly provide the parameters you want to use, ask a manufacturer to prepare a proposal, and during the discussion inquire about the relevant **or industry standard specifications. If it is for technical purposes or to prepare for some kind of presentation, it’s better to refer to the standards mentioned above. ;P
