Industrial chillers are commonly used cooling equipment in the industrial refrigeration sector. They come in a variety of types and models, are affordable, can be customized to specific requirements, and have a wide range of applications. More importantly, industrial chillers feature high temperature control precision and a wide temperature control range. So, what is the temperature control range of industrial chillers, and how should the temperature be set? What is the temperature control range for industrial chillers? 1. Standard industrial chillers: These chillers use the conventional R22 refrigerant, and it is possible to control the temperature within the range of 5–30°C. In other words, when adjusting the temperature control range, industrial chillers have a minimum temperature set at 5°C and a maximum temperature set at 30°C, which is the most commonly used temperature range in the industry today. However, some customers request that it be kept at 3°C, which needs to be specified and confirmed when designing the industrial chiller solution. 2. Low-temperature industrial chillers: Water freezes at 0°C, which is a common fact understood by both the elderly and children. So, if an industrial chiller is required to use a cryogenic fluid at sub-zero temperatures, is this possible? The answer is certainly yes. The temperature of low-temperature industrial chillers can be set to -5°C, -10°C, or even -45°C, among other values. 3. Ultra-low temperature industrial chillers: Industrial chillers that can provide a cooling fluid at temperatures below -45°C are what we refer to as ultra-low temperature industrial chillers. Regarding the price of screw-type chillers, these units use a two-stage or three-stage cascade refrigeration system, which is why they are also known as cascade industrial chillers. It can be seen that the temperature control range of industrial chillers is truly very wide. Since many customers are using industrial chillers for the first time, they are not very familiar with the operation methods. In fact, setting the temperature for industrial chillers is very simple: each industrial chiller comes equipped with a control panel on which the settings are displayed in both Chinese and English. To set the temperature, simply press the set button, then use the up and down buttons to adjust the temperature. However, different types of industrial chillers use different control panels; therefore, for setting the temperature of an industrial chiller, please refer to the manual for instructions.
