How to fix bubbling in the water tank of a water-jet vacuum pump?

It’s a water-jet vacuum pump, with caustic soda and urea added to the water tank to absorb nitrogen oxides. Recently, the tank has started to produce foam, which overflows from the top of the tank; this foam turns into water on the floor. Would it work to use an antifoaming agent, or should I just change the water? I’d like to ask everyone how to get rid of this foam – do you have any good practical experiences? Thank you!
Pour in some lubricant, or a surfactant
