How are the temperature and pressure in the seal chamber of a pump’s mechanical seal determined? Is it the temperature and pressure of the medium conveyed by the pump? :)
Generally, it is a bit higher, approaching the pressure and temperature at the pump inlet. However, as pump structures become more diverse, various manufacturers have their own empirical calculation formulas. Different pumps are different.

Both pressure and temperature are related to the flushing scheme. Pressure is also related to the pump type.
Judging from the pump structure, it cannot be generalized; of course, it’s best when the temperature is low, the pressure is low, and there is no vaporization
