Please, experts, help me figure out how to remove this gear; it’s from a German Leybold Roots pump
There’s a bunch that need fixing; the gears just can’t be removed
Look for the instruction manual, contact the equipment distributor, or consult the manufacturer. Disassemble the gear using a ram, or create a clip to pull the gear out with a jack. Looking at the picture, they’re disassembling the puller again.

Remove the back cover and take a front view of the gear; it’s likely a tapered fit. Create a simple pulling device of your own, use a jack to apply force, and then use gas cutting to heat the entire component evenly. Try not to heat the shaft as well. Do not stand in front of the jack to prevent the gear from flying out and causing injury if it comes loose
