Recently, there have been a series of problems with blockages in the pipelines of slurry pumps – blockages in the pipelines during shutdowns and blockages in the pumps themselves – which have caused significant difficulties in operation. Could everyone share any good suggestions? Thank you!
If the pump is clogged, switch to an open impeller; if the pipeline is clogged, cleaning is the only option
Mine slurry pumps and filter press pumps often experience blockages that cannot be removed through flushing; sometimes, it is difficult to locate the site of the blockage due to the long length of the pipes

It is recommended to install a Y-shaped or T-shaped filter in the pipeline, with the filter elements being cleaned regularly
Installing a filter before the slurry pump inlet would likely require cleaning it dozens of times a day
Add backwashing, and install a drain at the lowest point of the pipeline
When shutting down, use clean water or wastewater (wastewater with low solid content) for a period of time
Bro, it depends on the length of the Y-shaped filter branch pipe you use. If you design the branch pipe to be longer, it can handle a greater amount of debris, so there’s no need to clean it frequently
