Recently, I ran into another annoying issue: for a certain process, I need a batch of pumps with an inlet pressure of 1 MPa and an outlet pressure of 2–4 MPa. The flow rate is very low, with the smallest values being 0.1 m3/h, and the highest values being just under 3 m3/h. The displacement of the gear pump chosen earlier was also in the range of 1 to 20 CC. I’ve contacted some gear pump manufacturers, and it turns out that the flow rate and outlet pressure are fine, but the inlet pressure is not satisfactory. Most of their products are designed for an inlet pressure of 0.3 MPa. I’m worried that the shaft seal might fail under high pressure. Afraid of leaks. The medium is still a flammable liquid, and it is also required that there be no leaks. Could anyone recommend any suitable pump brands or products?
