Do vertical direct-connected pipeline pumps need to be aligned and leveled? No coupling
It’s not necessary under normal conditions, but it’s important to ensure that the connection surface between the pump body and the motor is tight, with no misalignment.
Is the motor shaft the same as the pump shaft? Just align the flanges. However, the lower the lack of verticality during equipment installation, the better.
