Another issue that deserves attention is the impurity content in the materials, which is also a major reason for the reduced service life of the fillers; additionally, there is the surface finish of the shafts that come into contact with the fillers. If this finish is excessively worn and the surface becomes rough, that is also one of the factors that cause damage to the packing. When replacing the packing, it is also necessary to consider replacing the sleeve; or, in the case of mild wear, it can be polished on a lathe, for reference.
It seems we’re in the same industry; it’s quite troublesome when leaks occur.
It can be changed to a mechanical seal, which has a long lifespan and low leakage
Switching to a mechanical seal would be much better; to achieve leak-free operation, a magnetic pump is still necessary

Filler seals are designed to allow leakage; most pumps can be modified to use mechanical seals. To achieve complete leaklessness, shielded pumps and magnetic drive pumps are required
When using a centrifugal pump, the viscosity of the material is not high; if it’s not a high-pressure pump, to ensure no leakage, mechanical seals or pumps such as magnetic pumps or shielded pumps must be used
If a single layer leaks, then use a double-layer packing seal. What’s the point of worrying? There are always more solutions than problems.
