It’s a vertical pipeline pump, with a water intake tank installed at the front to pump water at 80–90 degrees Celsius to another location. After pumping for some time, the flow rate decreased, but the water was pumped smoothly when its temperature was between 50–60 degrees Celsius. I’d like to know what could be the reason for this

Could it be that the pump pumping hot water causes a drop in pressure inside the water intake tank, resulting in the water boiling under low pressure and generating gas that enters the pump?

The water temperature is too high, resulting in severe vaporization; this causes the pressure inside the tank not to drop significantly after the water in the inlet pipe is drawn away. There isn’t enough water to be replenished, which in turn leads to the tank becoming empty. Suggestion: If the water tank is not a submersible tank, there is no need to use a water intake tank
High water temperature causes cavitation; either increase the inlet pressure or choose a pump with a higher net positive suction head.
As the pressure decreases, the boiling point of water drops, and some of the hot water turns into vapor the moment it comes to the surface. Once the temperature drops, it can be done naturally. Primary school physics.
