The pump in the wastewater treatment unit behaves this way every time it’s turned on; the workload isn’t heavy, but the limited space makes cleaning difficult, and having to do it so frequently is annoying. Is this kind of situation common in everyone’s devices? Is there a good, thorough solution?
The operating conditions are inappropriate, the pump was selected incorrectly, and a closed impeller is not suitable
For selection purposes, screw pumps with rubber stators, diaphragm pumps, or slurry pumps can be considered.
Changing it to pressure pulsation, a volumetric pump with a small operating diameter should be able to alleviate this issue
Does this material cause blockages in pipes? It is recommended not to use a pump; instead, use gas pressure or vacuum extraction.
Fouling of the medium can lead to increased friction between the pump rotor and the casing over time as a result of prolonged operation. We have dealt with similar situations before: the pump was switched off every half month during operation. For the pump that was taken out of service, a hose was connected at the inlet to pour dilute hydrochloric acid into it, allowing it to soak for a while before restarting it; after the liquid was drained, the pump could be put back into use. But two things need to be noted: first, the pump must be resistant to acid corrosion, and second, waste liquid treatment is required
