You can check the nameplate of the Empire shielded pump. In the pump model designation, the 4th digit of the series number indicates the pressure rating parameter of the pump.

It should be possible to use it, but definitely not for a long period of time. Under normal circumstances, the pressure used should not exceed the designed pressure; occasional overpressure is acceptable, but long-term use is definitely not feasible.
