For the pump model J5-2000/4.0, at the end of the internal crankshaft, there is a bearing on the outside of that end; outside the bearing, there is a component that functions similarly to a bearing housing. A diagram is provided below – is this component has a specific technical name?
This component is called a bearing housing or bearing bracket. .
Which manufacturer’s metering pump is this? It has a quite large N-type shaft. The drive mechanism of a normal metering pump should not require spare parts; it is designed to last 20 years, and it shouldn’t fail within that time frame.
Well-known foreign brands have a structure similar to that in the above photo. In foreign countries, this component is called SLEEVE.
