There are currently two options for selection: First, high-pressure shielded pumps – the problem with these is that they cannot handle the issue of solid particles; moreover, the highest operating temperature achievable in China is 315°C (according to Hydramatic’s capabilities). Second, high-speed pumps or BB5 multi-stage pumps – the issue here is that the material contains dissolved hydrogen, which makes sealing a very difficult task, and bellows seals are not suitable for such demanding conditions.
