The Yahai LNG liquefaction plant in the Ejin Horo Front Banner Comprehensive Industrial Park in Ordos began operations this year. The plant’s annual production capacity is 600,000 tons, with a designed capacity of 3 million cubic meters per day. The plant equipment was provided by Chengdu Cryogenic Liquefaction Equipment Co., Ltd., designed by Shaanxi Gas Design Institute, and constructed by China Railway 13th Bureau.
According to a report from China Securities Network (reporter He Yupu), Shenleng Co., Ltd. (300540) announced on the evening of August 25 that a consortium led by China Railway 23rd Bureau Group, in collaboration with Shaanxi Gas Design Institute and Shenleng Co., Ltd., has become the top bidder for the 600,000-ton liquefied natural gas project of Inner Mongolia Yahai Energy Development Co., Ltd. The bid price for the project is 917 million yuan. Shenleng Shares announced that Inner Mongolia Yahai Energy Development Co., Ltd. recently posted on the China Procurement and Bidding Network a notice regarding the candidates shortlisted for the design, procurement, and construction phases of its 600,000-ton liquefied natural gas project (under the EPC model). China Railway 23rd Bureau Group Co., Ltd., together with a consortium formed by Shaanxi Gas Design Institute Co., Ltd. and the company itself, has become the top candidate for this project.
The name of this project is the 600,000-ton liquefied natural gas project (EPC model) by Inner Mongolia Yahai Energy Development Co., Ltd； The construction site is located in the Aozhen Comprehensive Industrial Park of Etoke Qianqi ； The bid price for the project is approximately 917 million RMB. The scope of equipment supply to be provided by the company, as well as the related contract amount, will be determined based on the detailed work requirements when a subcontract is signed with the project leader, China Railway 23rd Group Co., Ltd.; it is expected that the company will undertake around one-third of the work. Scope of the contract: The project involves the construction of a new comprehensive natural gas development and utilization facility. The capacity for processing raw gas is 300×104 m3 per day; there is one unit designed to process 300×104 m3 of raw gas per day, and two units designed to process 150×104 m3 of raw gas per day. The output product is liquefied natural gas (LNG), with storage capacity provided by two LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 29,000 m3 each at atmospheric pressure. The EPC turnkey project model involves carrying out the project’s survey, preliminary design and related special reports, construction drawing design, procurement of equipment and materials, construction of civil and installation works, as well as overall project management, in accordance with the tender documents and **relevant laws, regulations, standards, etc.**
Project implementation period (total duration): 500 calendar days. The planned start date for implementation is August 2019 (subject to the contract signing date), and the completion date for acceptance inspection is December 30, 2020.
