Recently, Shanghai Yigong Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yigong Hydrogen Energy) delivered the liquid-driven diaphragm compressors with pressures of 90MPa-200kg and 45MPa-500kg as scheduled. These compressors are intended for use in the hydrogen compression systems at the “Jiading Hydrogen Energy Port” of the Shanghai Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Testing Center. Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection and Certification Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Motor Inspection”) is located in the Shanghai Anting International Automobile City. It was established in 2016 through the transformation of the Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Center, and it is a well-known third-party **-grade motor vehicle product inspection institution both domestically and internationally. As a third-party **automotive product testing institution, SAIC Testing has launched the construction of the \"Shanghai Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Testing Center\" project. With a focus on supporting the development of the hydrogen and fuel cell vehicle industry in Shanghai, its objectives are to implement the city’s development plans for fuel cell vehicles, improve the industrial chain related to hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles, and ensure the healthy and orderly growth of this industry. In line with the needs of China’s hydrogen and fuel cell industry development, it aims to create a third-party public service platform based in Shanghai but serving the whole country, for the testing and certification of hydrogen and fuel cell vehicle products as well as for safety assessments related to hydrogen utilization. The project was established with a full investment of 670 million yuan by SAIC Inspection, and it is the only \"Intelligent Connected Vehicles Industry Metrology and Testing Center\" in China that has been approved for establishment. As part of the second batch of major projects for the development of new infrastructure in Shanghai, the construction of this center will significantly enhance the city’s capabilities in hydrogen energy testing and experimentation, thereby contributing to further improvement of the hydrogen energy industry ecosystem. The project is located within the Jiading Hydrogen Energy Port, covering an area of about 50 mu, with a planned construction area of around 50,000 m2. The project plans to establish a new Class A hydrogen-related testing center, and to set up more than a dozen key laboratories for tasks such as performance testing of heavy-duty vehicles, performance testing of light-duty vehicles, and electromagnetic compatibility testing of complete vehicles and their components. Additionally, a dual-function hydrogen refueling station with capacities of 35 MPa and 70 MPa will be built to supply high-pressure hydrogen for the vehicles used in testing.
