The First Export Crude Oil Pipeline The China-North Korea Friendship Oil Pipeline is my country’s first export crude oil pipeline and the only export crude oil pipeline in my country so far. The pipeline starts from the Jinshan Bay Oil Depot in Zhen'an District, Dandong City, crosses the Yalu River, and ends at the Sinuiju Oil Depot in North Korea. The pipeline has a total length of 30.3 kilometers, a pipe diameter of 377 mm, a design pressure of 2.5MPa, and a design capacity of 3 million tons per year. It was completed and put into operation on December 20, 1975. The oil products transported by this pipeline are Daqing oil transported to the Dandong oil depot via railway tankers. The current transportation volume remains at 520,000 tons per year.

The pipeline was constructed at the same time and in the same ditch as the China-North Korea crude oil pipeline. The center distance between the two pipes is 1.5 meters. It starts from the Jinshan Bay Oil Depot in Zhen'an District, Dandong City, crosses the Yalu River, and ends at the Sinuiju Oil Depot in North Korea. The pipeline is 30.3 kilometers long and has a diameter of 219 millimeters. It was completed and put into operation on December 20, 1975, and was stopped and sealed in 1981. This pipeline is also my country's only export refined oil pipeline.
