The Guangdong petrochemical project's external pipeline corridor has a total length of 19 kilometers, consisting of a 15-kilometer external pipeline corridor in the oil refining area and a 4-kilometer external pipeline corridor in the chemical industry area. It is one of the few "pipe corridor giants" among refining and chemical companies in the country. The pipe gallery has a total of 6,511 pipe frame concrete structural columns, with a total steel structure of 36,500 tons. Up to now, the on-site prefabricated installation of pipe frame concrete precast columns has been completed, and the steel structure installation has been basically completed. After the pipeline gallery is completed, the total length of process pipelines laid on it will reach 803.4 kilometers (the total welding equivalent is 1.914 million inches).
Reporters recently learned from PetroChina Guangdong Petrochemical Company that after one year and four months of intensive construction of the external pipeline gallery of the PetroChina Guangdong Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Project, all the external pipeline corridors involving nine major systems, including the power center ignition, have been successfully sealed. Since the construction of the outer pipe gallery began, the builders of the Guangdong petrochemical project have experienced difficulties such as the epidemic, scorching heat, typhoons, and lack of manpower in more than 500 days and nights. In order to regain the construction progress, more than 300 builders, led by party member commandos, worked day and night. They once called 18 cranes to complete the lifting of a total weight of more than 800 tons, and closed 5 reserved openings for large-scale lifting 12 hours a day at night.
On January 29, the Storage and Transportation Project Department of Guangdong Petrochemical Company sounded the rally call for the Spring Festival battle for the process pipeline welding of the external pipeline gallery in the refining area. The general contractor CPECC mobilized more than 300 people from various joint devices on site to increase construction strength for the external pipeline gallery process piping. It began a 20-day holiday battle, striving to ensure that the process pipeline welding involving the ignition of the 2.28 power boiler is not reduced during the Spring Festival, so as to create conditions for the ignition of the power area. The outer pipe gallery is the nerve and artery connecting various devices, substations and production facilities. Since the welding construction of process pipelines, the daily welding equivalent has averaged over 8,000 to 18,000 inches. At present, there are 1,325 on-site construction personnel and 207 pipe welders, creating conditions for continuous construction, continuous construction, and no reduction in welding during the holidays.
