The Inner Mongolia Zhuozheng Coal Chemical Project is located in the Nalinhe Industrial Park of the Sulihe Economic Development Zone in Wushen Banner. The estimated investment for the first phase of this project is 25.5 billion yuan. Building on the existing facilities that produce 1.2 million tons of methanol and 1 million tons of acetic acid per year, this project incorporates advanced technologies for the efficient and clean utilization of coal at different grades, as well as processes for transforming methanol and acetic acid into higher-value products. By integrating green energy sources, it is planned to produce more than 30 types of main and auxiliary products, including acetic acid, polyglycolic acid, and polyoxymethylene. 2025 is a crucial year for this project, during which efforts will focus on completing the comprehensive civil construction, frame installation, and equipment hoisting for 27 individual units. All the parties involved in the project approach it with a mindset of going all out from the very beginning, treating the start phase as a critical battle, and commit themselves fully to the project’s construction. The projects set to begin this year include polyoxymethylene plants and acetic acid plants. 2025 will be the year for civil construction work at Zhuo Zheng Chemical; by the end of the year, the civil construction will be largely completed and some projects will enter the installation phase. The total investment is expected to exceed 7 billion yuan.
