The 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" in 2026: Everyone should talk about safety and know how to handle emergencies; risks and hazards need to be identified and addressed. -------------------------------------------------- Recently, the SCO Xinjiang New Energy High-Tech Industrial Park project was signed and implemented in Tacheng, Xinjiang. The establishment of this project will boost the development of the local new energy industry as well as foreign trade exports. It is reported that the total investment in this project amounts to approximately 166.2 billion yuan, and it includes four sub-projects: large-scale wind power-based hydrogen production, plant-based capsules, olefin carbon materials, and amorphous alloys. Of this amount, about 100 billion yuan is invested in the wind power sector, 30 billion yuan in hydrogen production, and 10 billion yuan in energy storage solutions. The products resulting from this project are mainly intended for export to overseas markets. Based on energy conservation and emission reduction data, after its commissioning, the project is expected to replace 40 billion kWh of coal-generated electricity annually, thereby reducing carbon emissions by 120 million tons ； Energy storage solutions can raise the utilization rate of wind energy to over 95%, thereby enabling a reduction in carbon emissions of more than 1 million tons and helping to lower the regional carbon intensity by 15% to 20%. It is understood that the project is implemented by leveraging the multi-functional economic and trade platform of the SCO, as well as various local support resources in Xinjiang and Tacheng. It is invested in and operated by Beijing Chenbang Investment, Fengyu Xincarbon Technology, Shanghai Quanjikang Medicine, Beijing Yidu Technology, in collaboration with several state-owned enterprises. Currently, cooperating parties such as China Railway 11th Bureau have finalized the terms of cooperation with the project leader, Beijing Chenbang Investment.
