Reply reward! ---------------------------------------------- The past decade has been a period of rapid development for China’s chemical industry, marked by the emergence of many new processes, products, and equipment. There has also been significant progress in China’s chemical processing equipment, which has contributed to the swift advancement of the petrochemical sector. Here, we have compiled some of the achievements and breakthroughs made by Chinese equipment manufacturers in terms of larger-scale production and localization of such equipment. We invite everyone to share their insights and discuss these topics together, to cheer for Made in China and to support the development of chemical processing equipment! ===================== Beijing, September 15, 2021 — (Reporters from China Youth Daily and China Youth Network: Qiu Chenhui) Reporters learned today from the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation that China’s first hydrogen liquefaction system based on a helium expansion refrigeration cycle, with independent intellectual property rights, was successfully tested recently; the liquid hydrogen produced had a purity of 97.4%. The development of this system took over 400 days, filling a gap in China’s capacity for large-scale production of liquid hydrogen with independent intellectual property rights. It not only holds significant strategic importance for ensuring the fuel supply for launch vehicles, but also provides the technical and equipment foundation necessary for large-scale storage and transportation of hydrogen in China’s hydrogen energy industry.
Now I know why Inner Mongolia has the largest helium extraction facility @WisdomBright
For aerospace use, why not build it in Golmud or Lanzhou?
There is no natural gas rich in helium in that area
