Signing of an integrated high-end POE industry project in Tongxin County, Wuzhong City, Ningxia, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan and an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons

Recently, Tongxin County in Wuzhong City, Ningxia held a ceremony for the centralized signing of investment promotion projects; 4 key projects were signed there, with a total investment amount of 3.056 billion yuan, covering strategic emerging industries such as photovoltaics and new materials. Among them, the integrated industrial project for producing 100,000 tons of high-end POE per year serves as a landmark project; it is jointly invested and constructed by Ningxia Zhongguangdian New Energy Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Hongdao New Materials Co., Ltd. It is planned that the engineering design for this project will be entrusted to Sinochem Chenguang Design Institute, which has extensive experience in the field of chemical new materials. This project utilizes the advanced metallocene solution-based POE process technology developed by Huaning Chemical (Lanzhou) Co., Ltd. This process technology has undergone long-term validation in pilot plants for continuous solution polymerization on a scale of thousands of tons, as well as in pilot plants for devolatilization and extrusion granulation on a scale of tens of thousands of tons. The resulting products have a light transmittance of ≥93% and a melt index of 0–30 g/10min; the maturity of this technology is at the international leading level and meets the requirements for industrial application. It has created an integrated collaborative innovation framework that encompasses technology research and development, process design, equipment manufacturing, production operations, and downstream applications. It is estimated that the annual output value upon full production will reach 1.66 billion yuan.
