The two dry quenching projects for the 2.15 million-ton rammed coke ovens at Shanxi Tongzhou involve a total investment of 3.65 billion yuan in the project to build 2.15 million tons per year of 6.25-meter rammed coke ovens by Shanxi Tongzhou Coal and Coke Group Co., Ltd. It is one of the key projects for the Year of Deepening Transformation Project Construction in Qinyuan County, Shanxi Province. The project is divided into two phases; it includes a 100,000-ton methanol production facility, with additional capacity for 100,000 tons of LNG and 100,000 tons of synthetic ammonia. At the same time, chemical products totaling 150,000 tons, including tar, crude benzene, ammonium sulfate, and sulfur paste, will be recovered. In the second phase, 2 coke ovens with 50 carbonization chambers each, also with a height of 6.25 meters and an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of packed coke, will be built. Meanwhile, a dry quenching system will be installed, along with coal preparation systems, dry quenching systems, chemical product recovery units, environmental protection facilities, and auxiliary facilities. Additionally, 2 coal washing projects with an annual capacity of 2.4 million tons each, 2 dry quenching waste heat recovery units with a capacity of 15 MW each, and a project for producing LNG from coke oven gas at an annual rate of 100,000 tons, along with 100,000 tons of ammonia per year, will be constructed. Once all facilities are put into operation and functioning at full capacity, the group’s sales revenue will reach 10 billion yuan, with profits and taxes paid amounting to 2.5 billion yuan.
