On June 8, the transportation of heavy equipment for the Sinopec Tianjin Nangang 1.2 million tons per year ethylene and related high-end new materials industrial cluster project (hereinafter referred to as the Nangang Ethylene Project) was completed successfully: the first large-scale piece of equipment, namely Tower 2 for propylene processing, was unloaded from the ship. The 2# propylene tower unloaded this time has a diameter of 8.2 meters, a height of 106.395 meters, and a weight of 1,520 tons; it is one of the heaviest pieces of equipment to be lifted and transported as part of the Nangang Ethylene Project. Tower 2# for propylene was officially transported at 7:32 a.m., and unloading from the ship was completed successfully at 10 a.m. The unloading of this equipment marks the official transition of the South Port Ethylene Project into the equipment installation phase.
