Recently, the first lift of Tower 902 for Xingrui Company’s 400,000 tons per year silicone new material project was completed successfully in one attempt, marking the official start of the installation work for the main equipment of the project and laying a solid foundation for its successful commissioning and operation. It is reported that the 902 tower has a maximum height of 83 meters and a maximum weight of 300 tons. Two crawler cranes were used at the site for lifting; these two cranes (an 800-ton main crane and a 300-ton auxiliary crane) worked together to lift the tower from the ground to an entirely vertical position. Once the auxiliary crane disconnected, the main crane lifted the structure and placed it on the foundation platform. The entire process was carried out in strict accordance with the lifting plan, and it took 98 minutes for the tower to be safely and successfully installed in place. To ensure that large tower structures can be lifted in the shortest possible time, the project team attached great importance to this task, planned in advance, and made thorough arrangements. Since the tower unit arrived at the site, the project’s lifting team has actively mobilized manpower and allocated resources efficiently, successfully completing tasks such as unloading the tower unit, applying anti-corrosion and insulation measures, setting up safety platforms, and lifting the unit into place. On October 28, Xingfa Group announced that it plans to invest in the construction of a new project for producing 400,000 tons per year of silicone-based materials, with an investment amount of 2.513 billion yuan. It is reported that this project is carried out by Hubei Xingrui Silicon Materials Co., Ltd., and the construction site is Area D of Yichang New Materials Industrial Park. The construction scope includes single-unit synthesis units, separation units, dimethyl hydrolysis and loop separation units, chloromethane synthesis units, silicon powder processing units, as well as units for high-boiling point pyrolysis, disproportionation, hydrochloric acid recovery, flue gas combustion, wastewater treatment, and tank areas. At the same time, supporting facilities such as comprehensive buildings, power distribution rooms, cabinet rooms, refrigeration stations, and circulating water stations are constructed.
