Comply with the Work Safety Law! Take on the role of the primary responsible person! ---------------------------------------------- The past decade has been a period of rapid development for China’s chemical industry, marked by the emergence of many new processes, products, and equipment. China’s chemical processing equipment has also seen significant progress, which has contributed to the swift advancement of the petrochemical sector. Here, we have compiled some of the achievements and breakthroughs made by Chinese equipment manufacturers in terms of larger-scale production and increased use of domestic equipment. We welcome everyone to share their insights and engage in discussions; let’s cheer for Made in China and support the development of chemical processing equipment! ------------------------------------------------------ The world’s largest typhoon-resistant semi-direct-drive offshore 12MW turbine was unveiled on June 1, coinciding with MingYang Group’s 29th anniversary. The unveiling ceremony for the MySE12MW semi-direct-drive offshore turbine took place at MingYang Smart’s high-end offshore equipment manufacturing base in Shanwei, Guangdong. The MySE12MW unit was custom-designed for typhoon-prone areas in China such as those in Guangdong and Fujian, as well as overseas markets like Europe; it is currently the world’s largest typhoon-resistant semi-direct-drive offshore wind turbine. The MySE12MW retains the efficient and reliable advantages of semi-direct-drive units, with an optimized and upgraded lubrication system that enhances reliability further. This model incorporates a variety of advanced technologies, providing a more reliable solution for unit lubrication and typhoon resistance. This model features dual-drive pitch control technology, which enables it to cope with various extreme operating conditions, further enhancing the safety level of the unit and ensuring more reliable pitch control. In addition, an integrated wind measurement system has been installed, which utilizes multi-sensor information fusion technology to achieve intelligent and precise yawing, thereby reducing the load on the turbine units and increasing power generation. At the same time, through the integration of multi-source information, system failures can be predicted earlier, allowing for timely implementation of countermeasures to enhance the safety of the units. The unit certification certificate issued by CNAS has now been obtained.
It has a higher wind resistance rating: the MySE12MW offshore turbine can withstand typhoons with wind speeds of up to 78.82 meters per second, making it suitable for use in over 98% of China’s coastal areas. Going forward, the single-blade lifting technology and process will be employed; the allowable wind speed for operations will be increased from less than 10 m/s to 15 m/s, thereby improving construction efficiency by over 30% and extending the time available for offshore operations. It has a higher power generation efficiency; at the rated wind speed, one rotation of the impeller generates 25 kWh of electricity. A single unit can produce 45 million kWh of electricity per year, which is sufficient to meet the annual energy needs of 23,000 households. This reduces coal consumption by 15,000 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 38,000 tons. Better cost efficiency: The MySE12MW offshore unit is small in size and light in weight, making it easier to transport and install, thus offering higher overall cost efficiency. Taking the 1 million-unit project as an example, 8MW units require 125 units, while 12MW units need only 84 units, resulting in a reduction of about one-third in the number of units required and saving over 30% of the ocean area used ; The overall basic cost is reduced by 24%, the cost of tower sections is reduced by 27%, resulting in a total cost reduction of over 25%. Furthermore, due to the reduction in the number of turbine units, the wake effect is reduced by about 3-4%, and overall power generation increases by more than 5% as a result of the improved wind capture efficiency of larger turbines. Overall, the cost per kilowatt is reduced by more than 8.6%, the cost per unit of electricity is lowered by 8.3%, and the internal rate of return on equity can increase by more than 7.5%. The completion of the MySE12MW offshore unit will promote the development and upgrading of the entire industrial chain related to the manufacturing, testing, transportation of high-end and large-scale equipment, as well as large-scale lifting equipment and installation and maintenance services. It will also contribute to the adjustment and transformation of China’s energy structure and help achieve the ambitious \"dual carbon\" goals at an earlier date.
China is also at the forefront in offshore wind power, boasting the largest workboats and the largest transformers
