On October 31, Qingdao Refining and Chemical's "Qingdao Hydrogen Energy Resource Base Project" was completed and transferred to the production preparation stage. It is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of November. This is Sinopec’s first large-scale regional hydrogen supply center in Shandong. The project is constructed using Sinopec’s S-PSA fuel cell hydrogen production technology with its own intellectual property rights, which has the advantages of small footprint and low power consumption.
The Qingdao Hydrogen Energy Resource Base Project of Qingdao Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. has been approved for construction by Sinopec Qingdao Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. (Qingdao Refining and Chemical Work Order No. ﹝2021﹞16). The bidder is Sinopec Qingdao Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. The EPC general contracting of the Qingdao Hydrogen Energy Resource Base Project has met the bidding conditions and is now open for public bidding. Interested potential bidders are specially invited to participate in the bidding. 2． Project Overview and Bidding Scope 2.1 Bidding Project Name: Qingdao Refining and Chemical Company’s Qingdao Hydrogen Energy Resource Base Project. 2.2 Construction location: Huangdao District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. 2.3 Construction scale: In the Qingdao Hydrogen Resource Base Project for the second hydrogen production unit of Qingdao Refining and Chemical Company, a new 2000Nm3/h PSA unit was built, 1 new raw gas compressor, 1 product gas film press, and 4 sets of hydrogen filling columns (1500Nm3/h) were added. Added supporting raw materials, products, utility pipelines and pipe corridors. 2.4 Estimated contract price for this bid section: 26 million yuan (excluding tax). 2.5 Planned construction period: 140 days (including the design period, from the start date to the delivery date). 2.6 Division of bids: A bid section. 2.7 Bidding Scope of Bid Sections: Project detailed design, procurement, and construction general contracting. It does not include pile foundation construction and testing, PSA skid-mounted equipment procurement, membrane press procurement, desorption compressor procurement, TSA supporting equipment and the procurement and construction of the first hydrogen production to reforming pipeline.
