Several customer companies have begun making small-scale purchases for industrial pilot production. This marks the successful commissioning of the company’s high-purity phase-change wax facility. 　　It is reported that this is the first production facility in China capable of producing high-purity phase change wax on a scale of 10,000 tons. It represents another high-end phase change wax production facility put into operation by Nanyang Energy Chemical Company, following the completion of a facility for producing high-melting point phase change wax in June 2022, which was able to produce qualified products. 　　It is said that high-purity phase-change wax is a premium specialty wax product developed by taking advantage of paraffin’s phase-change latent heat, environmental friendliness, and biological safety. Not only is it safe and environmentally friendly, but it can also enable automatic absorption and release of energy, making it an ideal new type of green energy storage material. 　　The production conditions for high-purity phase-change waxes are stringent; in addition to high temperatures and a high vacuum level, the temperature variation during production must be kept very narrow, within ±1°C. According to Bao Huafeng, the person in charge of on-site production organization at Nanyang Energy Chemical’s high-purity phase-change wax facility, construction of this facility began last December, it was completed by the end of September this year, and it has since started operating on a trial basis. Through close collaboration and careful adjustments by management, technical staff, and operators, technical challenges such as the precise cutting of carbon molecules were overcome, enabling the stable production of high-purity 43# and 47# phase-change waxes of qualified quality. 　　Over the years, Nanyang Energy Chemicals has leveraged the resource advantage of high wax content in the crude oil from Henan Oilfield, and in response to market demands, has continuously developed new special wax products. At present, the company’s production and sales of \"Wolong\" brand specialty wax products total 42 varieties and 136 grades, of which 35 varieties and 129 grades are produced on an industrial scale. In recent years, Nanyang Energy Chemicals has added 7 new grades of high-purity phase change wax products to its portfolio. This not only helps to break the monopoly of foreign products in certain segments of the domestic phase change wax market, but also further enhances the advantages and profitability of its specialty wax products.
