Recently, the primary power supply for the two-circuit incoming lines at the 10kV main substation of Shuanghuan Technology’s caustic soda production line energy-saving technology upgrade project was successfully established. This has laid a solid foundation for subsequent tasks such as power supply and distribution to various equipment and substations, individual testing of motors, and the commissioning of the plant’s control system; it also creates favorable conditions for the complete completion of the project. The project is under the general contracting of China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1.366 billion yuan. It represents a practical effort by China’s chemical industry to achieve the goals related to carbon neutrality and high-quality energy development. Once completed, it will have an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of soda ash. Through technological upgrades and green transformation, it is expected that carbon emissions will be reduced by over 80,000 tons per year, while the overall energy consumption for producing soda ash will decrease by 28% compared to the current level.
