The first batch of key equipment for Hunan Petrochemical’s high-performance epoxy resin production facility has been installed

On March 10, at the site of Sinopec’s key construction project – the Hunan Petrochemical plant capable of producing 170,000 tons per year of high-performance epoxy resins – the first batch of critical equipment was successfully installed. These two resin solution reception tanks, with a total weight of nearly 13 tons each, were lifted into place safely. Currently, the project has entered the equipment installation phase, with 28 key pieces of equipment to be lifted one after another. For this lifting operation, one 320-ton crawler crane is used as the main lifting device, with a 50-ton truck crane assisting in the positioning and installation. The two storage tanks need to be installed on the 8.5-meter level of the project’s northern frame. The involved parties will work together to finalize the installation plan, reserving spaces for installation during the framing process. The tanks will be installed by lowering them from the 23.5-meter level, to ensure that the lifting operations are carried out safely and in an orderly manner.
