The industrial project for hydrogen production via electrolysis water in the Ganchimao Du Port Processing Park of Bayannur Liyuan Alloy Materials has been approved for registration. On April 8, information from the Online Approval Service Hall for Investment Projects in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region showed that the application submitted by Bayannur Liyuan Alloy Materials Co., Ltd. for the registration of its industrial project related to hydrogen production through electrolysis in the Ganchimao Du Port Processing Park had been approved. According to the information provided: Location of construction: Bayannur City – Wulat Middle Banner – south of Feng’an Logistics Company in the Ganqimaodu Port Processing Park, north of S215 road, west of the Yuanjing Energy Storage Project, and east of the Hailiutu River. Total investment: 312.5 million yuan. Planned start and completion dates: September 2025 to December 2027. Scale and scope of construction: The project covers an area of 750 mu, with a total construction area of approximately 270,000 square meters. It includes an electrolysis workshop, a purification and compression workshop, an installation area for electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment, a water treatment workshop, hydrogen storage facilities, fire protection systems, water supply and drainage facilities, as well as various production support and auxiliary facilities; upon completion, it will be a facility capable of producing 250,000 tons of hydrogen per year.
