Total investment of 1.2 billion yuan! The registration for Inner Mongolia Shuimu Mingtuo’s project to produce 600,000 tons of green ammonia using green hydrogen was completed on April 18, 2025. On April 17, the project to produce 600,000 tons of green ammonia via green hydrogen by Shuimu Mingtuo was officially registered. According to the project registration notification, the Shuimu Mingtuo green hydrogen-based 600,000-ton green ammonia production project is located in the Bayun Industrial Park of the Damao Zero-Carbon Park, in the Dalhan Maomingan United Banner of Baotou City. The total investment in this project is 1.2 billion yuan, and the project owner is Shuimu Mingtuo (Damao) Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The project will enable the annual production of 600,000 tons of ammonia synthesized from green hydrogen. Construct a 600,000-ton green hydrogen-based ammonia production line, along with supporting facilities such as nitrogen production systems, desalination systems, circulating water systems, waste heat power generation systems, substations, and office and living areas. Planned construction period: May 2025 to December 2027.
