The Guizhou Bijie phosphate-coal chemical integration project is a comprehensive phosphate-coal chemical complex jointly invested in by Qingshan Industry, Huayou Holding, and Huafeng Group. It aims to build facilities with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of iron phosphate and 800,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate, along with supporting projects and installations for the comprehensive development of phosphate chemicals； It is planned to invest in the construction of projects and facilities with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of DMC (dimethyl carbonate), 5 million tons of coke, 500,000 tons of methanol produced from coke oven gas, 800,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, and 1 million tons of hydrogen peroxide. Construction of this project officially began on August 29, 2024, and it will be carried out in three phases. Phase 1 started on January 6, 2025, with an investment of 24.3 billion yuan to build facilities capable of producing 500,000 tons of iron phosphate and 250,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate per year. In 2025, the civil works for Phase 1 of the project officially commenced, and the land grading work entered its final stages; the land grading for the project is set to be completed by early 2026. The main construction work for facilities such as ammonia synthesis, hydrogen peroxide production, and iron phosphate production will begin, with the aim of putting the first phase of the project into operation in the first quarter of 2026. During the project construction phase, Guizhou Province coordinated its resources to advance the strategy of \"intensive exploitation of rich mineral deposits,\" establishing a \"weekly coordination mechanism\" at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, while simultaneously carrying out land acquisition and demolition, site preparation, and the construction of the main project structures. The project adopts a coupled production model for phosphorus and coal chemical industries, with hydrogen peroxide and synthetic ammonia produced by the coal chemical industry being used directly as raw materials for the phosphorus chemical industry, thereby achieving circular and green production. Zhijin County established a dedicated service team and formulated a \"Guide to Services for Project Procedures.\" The first public announcement regarding the environmental impact assessment for the project’s supporting facilities has been made. This project utilizes advanced domestic equipment and technological processes to establish a complete industrial chain for new energy and new materials, enabling integrated, circular, and green development in the phosphorus and coal chemical industries. It holds great significance for Guizhou in thoroughly implementing the strategy of making optimal use of its rich mineral resources, developing new forms of productive capacity, and transforming its resource advantages into industrial and economic advantages. On January 31, 2026, the phosphorus-coal chemical integration project in Bijie, Guizhou, commenced construction. Recently, the Guizhou Bijie phosphorus-coal chemical integration project, with a total investment of 73 billion yuan, is advancing at an accelerated pace. The full resumption of operations for this project lays the foundation for the commissioning of the first phase of the 300,000 tons per year lithium iron phosphate production facility on June 30.
