Batch Signing for Yushu Green Methanol Project On August 12, a meeting was held to conduct batch signings with the partners involved in the Yushu Green Methanol Project. The total planned investment for this project is 21.4 billion yuan. The project adopts a dual-path production process of \"green electricity + biomass\": hydrogen is produced by electrolyzing water using renewable energy, while green methanol is manufactured through carbon dioxide capture and synthesis technologies, thereby achieving \"negative carbon production\" and \"zero carbon emissions\". The first phase plans for 800,000 kilowatts of wind power capacity, the construction of a hydrogen production plant with a capacity of 96,000 Nm3/h, and the establishment of a chemical facility capable of producing 270,000 tons of methanol per year (150,000 tons of bio-based methanol and 120,000 tons of electronic-grade methanol). Compared to traditional processes, energy consumption is reduced by 4%, carbon emissions are nearly zero, and 410,000 tons of CO₂ emissions can be reduced each year.
