Construction Details: This project is divided into four functional areas, namely the process equipment area, storage and transportation facilities area, utility and auxiliary facilities area, and production management area. The process unit area includes 2 sets of production units for xylene and polyphenylene ether. The storage and transportation facility area includes a storage tank area unit (16 storage tanks) and a vehicle loading/unloading facility unit. The utilities and auxiliary facilities area mainly includes 10kV substation, circulating water plant, sewage treatment plant, rainwater monitoring facilities, heat transfer oil station, refrigeration station, air separation and air compression station, pilot workshop, finished product warehouse, chemical storage area, incineration station, and general maintenance room. The production management area mainly includes a comprehensive building, a cafeteria, a R&D center, a central control room, etc. The main raw materials for this project are phenol and methanol; the main products produced on an annual basis are 20,000 tons of polyphenylene oxide (PPO), 20,000 tons of 2,6-dimethylphenol, and 5,400 tons of 2-cresol.
